Designed to perform without the petro-chemical load
Seaweed-enriched cellulose, bio-nylon from castor beans and bio-elastane from corn, with a certificate held for each fibre.
Third-party lab tested
Finished garments tested for PFAS, BPA, phthalates, heavy metals, formaldehyde and azo dyes. Passed every test.
Gentle on skin and enriched with seaweed goodness
Dermatologically tested by Dermatest and rated Excellent. Tested for antioxidant activity that neutralises free radicals by OMPG, TEAC assay.
Performance, without the petrochemicals.
For decades, performance activewear has depended on fossil-fuel synthetics. Nōht was built to end that reliance without asking the garment to do less: the same stretch, hold and recovery, from fibres grown rather than refined.
Stretch
Four-way stretch. In lab testing, 228.5% widthwise and 166.3% lengthwise, measured on the Core Tank.
Recovery
Bio-elastane from corn gives the knit its return. Engineered to keep its compression through repeated wear and washing.
Breathability
Seaweed-enriched cellulose sits against the skin, in a breathable seamless whole-garment knit.
Skin-tested
Dermatologically tested by Dermatest and rated Excellent.
Chemically screened
Finished garments screened for PFAS, BPA, phthalates, heavy metals, formaldehyde and azo dyes. Passed every test.
Longevity
A seamless knit. In lab testing, colourfastness rated 4 to 5 and shrinkage no more than 1.1% after three washes, measured on the Core Tank.
Wellbeing
Every fibre certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and the fabric tested for antioxidant activity.
Lower impact
Bio-nylon with 25% lower CO₂ than standard nylon. The cellulose fibres degrade in soil in approximately 41 days, at fibre level.
